When a new market is formed initially, there should be many competitors around. One may lead but can't kill all others completely. There are always pitfalls available for the leader(s). If one run too fast and left all others behind too far away, he may get a good situation in a short time. But others may copy you directly, and smaller uprising space will lead to more extensive competition afterward. So good leading company will reserve some of their advanced techniques, and insert into the products only when necessary. The mode of "Always Leading in each step" is better than "Leading once".
The rule is "Always hide your decisive card"! So frequently update but don't try to kill others.
